WHITE SANDS MONUMENT NEW MEXICO VINTAGE CERAMIC SOUVENIR SALT & PEPPER SHAKERS

Description

Vintage 1950's-60's era souvenir salt and pepper shakers from White Sands National Monument, New Mexico.
These shakers are cast in glazed ceramic with a hand-painted sculptural relief of the white gypsum dunes and distant mountains found in this desert wonderland. Each shaker is half of the relief - put them together to view the whole scene. The tops have the shaker holes, one labeled "S" and the other "P, and the bottoms have the fill holes (one has its original cork stopper). The front reads "WHITE SANDS - NEW MEXICO".
Each shaker measures 3" tall by 2" wide by 1.75" deep.
These vintage souvenir shakers are in great shape, ready for your tabletop ot display shelf.
