Description

This is a sweet little vintage cedar wood box made by J.B. Deere Cedarcraft. The front says "Phone Messages" with a picture of a vintage rotary phone and in smaller print "Waipahu, Hawaii." This would have been placed near your house phone and would have held paper and pens to write down incoming messages. This old fashioned phone message organizer box measures approximately 5 3/8" wide; 3 3/4" tall and is 2 1/4" deep. The interior depth is 3 3/8". The wood (cedar) is solid, the writing on the front is in excellent condition and the construction on this piece is well done as one would expect from John Deere. It is marked on the bottom "345 89".The wood shows its grain and the colors are natural and lovely.
