    Description

    This serving tray is a souvenir brought home by a soldier to his family in Salt Lake City, Utah after his discharge from the US armed forces / the variety of inlaid woods are still very secure with no missing pieces / I have just applied Old English oil which has brought out their full beauty / the iconic Australian animals are a Kangaroo, Emu, Koala, and Kookaburra.  There is some rust on the metal railing, the railing and handles are secure / the U.S.A.-S.W.P.A. (South West Pacific Area} stands for the partnership of the Australian and American forces under command of General Douglas MacArthur, who arrived in Australia after his emergency departure from the Philippines which had fallen to the Japanese forces.
