This
is a unique metal figurine that features a scene in Nikko, a Japanese city and
tourist destination. It stands approximately
3 ½” in height, 6 ½” in length and 2 ¼” in width and is made of heavy (weighs a
little over ½” lb.) silver metal. This
is a finely detailed sculpture that features a rickshaw, stream and red bridge
(Shinkyo Bridge) in the foreground. In
the background is a depiction of a Japanese building (Toshogu Shrine), a temple
near the waterfall (Kegon Falls) and train rails connecting to the Nikko
National Park. Aside from the silver
metal this piece is decorated with bright red, blue and green metallic colors. Despite some tarnish, wear and discoloration
to the metal and a missing nut on the base, this figural Nikko Japan souvenir
is in good condition with no other evidence of damage.
