Vintage Antique Authentic Oak 1895 General Store Display Ribbon Cabinet

Authentic Antique Oak Ribbon Display cabinets are scarce as hens teeth...and big ones even more rare!  I can just imagine this in a Victorian haberdashery/millinery shop or a general store in 1895, full of brilliantly colored silks to match every hat and dress.
This beautifully engineered Victorian display cabinet has multiple layers of racks inside for rows upon rows of ribbon spools...and opens up like a magic unfolding box for access! It is perfect for displaying precious collections of trim and ribbons, or you could think outside the box, and use it to display other unusual small treasures.
It has the original name plate on it from the Exhibition Show Case Company 1895.
Over 100 years old, it is in
great condition, only
showing a few spots of age. There is also 1 small spot with a piece of molding missing.
There are 48 shelves in total with a few missing nails.
Including
the ornamental top it is 54" tall, when
closed
32" wide, and 27 1/2" in depth.
This item is original antique stock from the archives of Tinsel Trading, in NY, which was founded by my grandfather. I am constantly adding ribbons, trims, tassels, cords, fringes and more, some dating back as far as 1880's
.
It is being housed in Centereach Long Island, NY . I am sorry, but I will not ship or pack it . You will need to arrange that yourself !!
