    I picked this beauty up in Afghanistan where I briefly worked as a contractor after retiring from a career in the U.S. Navy. Can't tell you what I was doing there or I would have to shoot you (lol). Anyway, this beautiful piece is indicative of the Turkemen tribal style of jewelry that was used in the last century. Pieces such as this are increasingly difficult to find and procure these days. It is a magnificent piece, a must have for any collector or lover of tribal art and jewelry.
