We are now offering for sale this lovely antique Victorian Scottish frown banded
agate with chalcedony agate cabochons in gold gilt brooch mounting. The agate cabochons and stones are in good condition.
The metal work and gilding are well done and in good condition.
It measures approximately 1 1/2" wide x 2 1/16" long.  Pin dates to Victorian period. Most likely mid 1800s. It closes with a C Clasp. The pin and C Clap have old replacements. Back of of setting under claps replacement may have been reinforced or gilt was simply removed to allow for better attachment of clasp replacement.  It is ready to wear or gift wrap.
