This is a rare advertising handbill (flyer) promoting ticket sales for the four-week, Post-Broadway engagement of the STEPHEN SONDHEIM and HUGH WHEELER musical thriller "SWEENEY TODD" ("The Demon Barber of Fleet Street") at the Metropolitan Center in Boston, Massachusetts beginning January 7th, 1981. (The production opened March 1st, 1979 at the Uris Theatre in New York City and ran for 557 performances before going on the road.) .....
