This is a rare April 4th, 1971 PREMIERE PERFORMANCE playbill from the Original Broadway production of the groundbreaking STEPHEN SONDHEIM and JAMES GOLDMAN musical "FOLLIES" which played the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City. (The production opened April 4th, 1971 and ran for 522 performances.) ..... Also includes a full page ad for the Original Broadway Cast recording of Sondheim's "COMPANY" on Columbia Records (third scanned image), a second ad promoting the production and a related article on the "Ziegfeld Girls" ..... CONDITION: With the exception of slight edge discoloration to some inside pages, this playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
