    This is a beautiful August 1975 playbill (with a loose ticket stub) from the Original Broadway production of the WILLIAM F. BROWN and CHARLIE SMALLS musical "THE WIZ" at the Majestic Theatre in New York City. (The production opened January 5th, 1975 and ran for 1672 performances.) ..... Winner of seven Tony Awards including "Best Musical", the show starred sixteen year-old STEPHANIE MILLS as "Dorothy", HINTON BATTLE as the "Scarecrow", TIGER HAYNES as "The Tinman" and JAMES WIGFALL as "The Lion" and featured CLARICE TAYLOR, IRENE REID, TASHA THOMAS, DEE DEE BRIDGEWATER
