The second installment of the "Traditional Lacquer Art Rei" series of fountain pens that use lacquer crafts from all over Japan as fountain pens.Ryumon-nuri is born from the technique of paper-making suminagashi and the technique of watercolor windsock, and is unique in the world of lacquer painting.In Aomori prefecture, which is a cold region, the lacquer does not dry well and the color does not come out well.Ryumon-nuri has a richly sensitive look while enhancing its uniqueness in the recoating of lacquer, which is a characteristic of changing coating.The Ryumon lacquer applied to this product is reminiscent of a marble pattern, and combined with the finish of domestic lacquer, it is a wonderful gem unique to lacquer.

The paulownia box, which is said to be the most suitable material for storing lacquer products, uses high-quality Japanese paulownia with fine grain. We use a durable Sanada string that is hard to stretch. The storage bag is made by cutting the unwound silk kimono fabric and hand-crafting each one up to the nails. Creative lacquer artist Hirokazu Shimamori
Born in Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture. He graduated from the Department of Craft Design and Metal Engraving at university and won the Excellence Award at his graduation exhibition. He graduated from Tsugaru Nuri Technical Training Institute (Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture).
He won the Excellence Award at the Tsugaru Nuri Shusaku Exhibition. 2011 Launched the original brand "LAND PROTECTO" in order to pursue the possibilities of historic traditions and increase the value of traditional crafts that combine creativity and cheerful lacquer art and metal engraving. Since then, it has opened many stores such as exhibitions and special exhibitions, and has been well received.
