The King of Pen is Sailor's largest size fountain pen, and it is comparable in size and feel to the Montblanc 149 fountain pen or the Pelikan M1000 fountain pen. The Sailor Pro Gear King of Pen fountain pen shown here in Clear acrylic with Rhodium trim and a 21kt nib is well suited for someone who prefers a larger pen.
The clear acrylic body and cap are appointed with rhodium trim, which gives an air of elegance and authority. The 21k nib is exceptionally smooth, and the pen can be filled with the included proprietary converter for use with bottled ink or with a standard Sailor cartridge, which is also included. Sailor has a company history stretching back to 1911, and a reputation for quality and value that few other pen manufacturers can ever hope to match.
