This is a rare July 23rd, 1951 playbill from the one-week, Summer Stock engagement of RICHARD RODGERS and LORENZ HART musical comedy "PAL JOEY" at the Sea Cliff Summer Theatre in Sea Cliff, New York. (This tour was the inspiration for the successful Broadway revival that opened January 3rd, 1952 at the Broadhurst Theatre in New York City and ran for 540 performances.) ..... The musical starred CAROL BRUCE (who would star in the 1954 London revival) and featured BOB FOSSE, JOAN MANN, DICK BERNIE, SYLVIA KARLTON, SHANNON DEAN, GEORGE MITCHELL, PHYLLIS DORN, DORIS SCHMITT, NORA BRISTOW, RITA TANNO, DANNY GERSHOWITZ, JIM MERCHUT, JOHN BONITZ, LOUIS MACMILLAN, THOMAS G. RATCLIFFE, BRADFORD HUNT, JOE ELMAN, JOE O'BRIEN, WARREN PFAFF, BARBARA HURWICH, MARY POPE and ROSE VOLKMAN with DAVID BAKER and ROY RISING at the pianos .....
