    This is a rare September 20th, 1954 programme (playbill) from the one-week, Pre-London engagement of the JOHN VAN DRUTEN comedy "BELL, BOOK and CANDLE" at the Opera House in Manchester, England. (The Original Broadway production opened November 14th, 1950 at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre in New York City and ran for 233 performances. The London production would open October 5th, 1954
    at the Phoenix Theatre
    and run for 485 performances.) ..... The play starred REX HARRISON and LILLI PALMER (both repeating their starring roles on Broadway) and featured ATHENE SEYLER, DAVID EVANS and WILFRID LAWSON .....
