RARE Antique EDWARDIAN VAUXHALL GLASS BROOCH W DRAGON OVERLAY Ornate & FABULOUS

*****DESCRIPTION: Outstanding Antique Brooch, with a large Vauxhall Glass FACETED AMBER STONE, and an Orantely Etched/engraved DRAGON HEAD OVERLAY. The HEAD is part of the pin, and is formed into the metal, not a separate piece. Glass stone is Bezel set, and mirror backing is still fabulous after all these years. Open pinback. Color appears to be an old gold tone plating over a stamped metal. Much of the plating has an age-darkened appearance.
SIZE: 2" across.
CONDITION: Except for the expected age darkening, Excellent, Glass is nice and clear, mirror backing has minimal, if any, speckling. I feel no nicked facets. Looking through a loupe, you may be able to see FAINT aging. This is such a unique and Fabulous Victorian Pin, with a neat, Asian Dragon theme, you will want to add this beauty to your collection. NOTE: These are VINTAGE Items, that means pre-owned and pre-worn, so is probably NOT in mint condition. Vintage items may show wear especially under magnification, but all structual or obvious damage is noted above. NO RESERVE!!!!
