    Description

    This gorgeous antique watch was manufactured by Billodes.
    This ladies pocket watch was one of several that were made specifically to be sold during the 1889 Paris Exhibition.
    It is made from 14k "Russian gold," which was the Old World name for rose gold, and features hand-etched motifs of twisted ivy and scroll work foliage and a pair of snarling wolves. It has a small blank shield on the front for a monogram or initial to be added. The back panel snaps open and bears the words "BILLODES Ancre 15 Rubies Spiral Breguet 1889 Exposition de Paris."
    The watch is in prime, original condition, hand-winds, holds perfect time, and bears the serial number 221853.
