    ,  a NEW Hand-crafted  Rag Quilt Candle Mat or Table Centerpiece.  This Mat
    has 16 Slices or Patches consisting of 3 layers: Cotton Top, Flannel Center and Cotton Back that are machine quilted together, than the slices or patches are sewn together and the seams clipped to create the "ragged" look.  This Mat features a large 9" Center with 3 Star Appliques.

    This Mat has been washed once to start the ragging process. The clipped edges will continue to get fluffier each time you wash it. Different types of Fabrics are used in making the Mats. These Fabrics have a different rate of shrinkage when washed which creates the wonderful puckers and crinkles, just like the vintage Quilts these are patterned after.
    Please look at pictures carefully. They are considered part of the description. You will receive the item pictured.
    We have a non-smoking, Dog Friendly Home, but the Dogs don't help me sew very often!
