    This is a rare May 1967 programme (playbill) from the opening weeks of the West End revival of the LIONEL BART musical hit "OLIVER!" at the Piccadilly Theatre in London. (The
    Original West End production
    opened June 30th, 1960
    at the New Theatre in London
    and ran for 2618 performances. This revival opened April 26th, 1967 and ran for 331 performances.) ..... The musical starred BARRY HUMPHRIES (
    better known today
    as "Dame Edna Everage") as "Fagin", MARTI WEBB as "Nancy" and future "Genesis" drummer PHILIP "Phil" COLLINS as "Noah Claypole". Others in the cast included PAUL BARTLETT, TOM de VILLE, PAMELA PITCHFORD, AUDREY LEYBOURNE, GLYN WORSNIP, EDNA DORE, PATRICIA GRAY, LESLIE STONE, TERRY LATHAM, MIRIAM MANN, MARTIN DELL, GAVIN GORDON, HAMISH ROUGHEAD and HILDA CAMPBELL RUSSELL ..... Side note: PHIL COLLINS made his professional stage debut in 1964 in the West End production of "OLIVER!" at London's New Theatre.
