This is a rare January 9th, 1944 playbill from the Post-Broadway engagement of the classic NOEL COWARD comedy "BLITHE SPIRIT" at the Davidson Theatre in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. (The production opened November 5th, 1941 at New York's Morosco Theatre ran for 657 performances before a summer hiatus and tour. The production would resume performances on September 6th, 1943 at the Morosco Theatre and run for an additional 32 performances before returning to the road.) ..... The play starred CLIFTON WEBB, PEGGY WOOD, MILDRED NATWICK and HAILA STODDARD and featured DOREEN LANG, VALERIE COSSART and PHILIP TONGE .....
