Decal Set up for Sale:Lake Erie, Franklin & Clarion 100T 3 panel Logo Hopper Decal Set Set includes logos, lettering, numbers, and labels to model one Lake Erie Franklin & Clarion 100 ton coal hopper painted in the 3-panel logo scheme. About the Railroad:The Lake Erie, Franklin, and Clarion Railroad (reporting mark LEF) was a fifteen mile long short line that ran from a Conrail connection at Summerville, Pennsylvania, to Clarion, Pennsylvania. This shortline's traffic included sand for Clarion's glass making plant, glass bottles, lumber, and outbound shipments of coal. In an effort to support the Owens Illinois Glass Plant in Clarion, PA, LEF&C Purchased 25 Covered Hoppers numbered 80000-80024. These covered hoppers saw service long after the LEF&C was abandoned. The cars were patched out, but the LEF&C Logo lives on. Our process allows for a 100% Color Match to real-world paint schemes in solid, opaque spot colors unlike ALPS printed decals; as well as Fades and Gradients previously unavailable with Screen Printed decals. Using High Quality transfer paper allows us to provide a durable yet easy to work with decal which responds well to available setting solutions and allows for our decals to settle correctly over uneven surfaces.
