Up for sale is limited edition of SAILOR professional gear series, cocktail
Tequila Sunrise
model, in shiny vibrant orange-red colors. The pen was made in JAPAN in 2018, it is in mint condition, like new. I would list it as a new pen, but it wasn't bought by me from the store, so its listed as mint.
This beautiful Sailor pen is a standard size Professional Gear and has a 21K gold H-MF two-toned nib with gold furniture. It also comes with an original SAILOR converter.
The Sailor has released one special edition of Cocktail Series fountain pen every year since 2011. Each pen is named after a popular drink. Be it the simplicity of a Martini or the complexity of a Commonwealth, cocktail drinks are enjoyed by many, not only for their flavors, but as masterfully crafted works of art.
Every year since 2011, consumers throughout Japan have been 'served' cocktail themed fountain pens created by Sailor 'mixologists'. These elegant and colorful limited edition Sailor fountain pens draw their creative inspiration from cocktail drinks from around the world. They have been enjoyed and appreciated vastly throughout Japan not only for their superb writing experience but also as creative works of art.
This is part of Sailor’s Cocktail series of pens, taking its name from the popular Tequila Sunrise cocktail drink. This gorgeous pen has been colored to emulate the red to orange gradient that is found in its namesake cocktail. The bottom final on the pen body is a very rich translucent red. Followed by the body of the pen which is a stunningly opaque orange resin with just a hint of translucency. The cap is a similarly opaque resin in a paler orange color. Finally, the finial on the cap is crystal clear to represent the glass the cocktail would come in, and literally, the cherry on top of all of this is the red dot in the cap’s finial where the Sailor logo is that represents the cherry that garnishes the cocktail drink.
