This is a rare playbill from the out-of-town tryout of the MAXINE KLEIN, MICHEL LEGRAND and HAL DAVID musical flop "BRAINCHILD" at the Forrest Theatre in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. (The production opened March 25th, 1974 in Philadelphia and closed there April 6th, 1974 cancelling the scheduled Broadway opening.) ..... DETAILS: The 16 page playbill measures 5 3/4" X 9" inches and includes full production credits, cast list, synopsis of scenes, list of musical numbers and bios of each of the leading actors and members of the creative team, but no cast photos ..... CONDITION: With the exception of several handwritten notations (in red) on the title page, this rare playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
