These tips do not lock onto the speaker stem, they pressure fit to the plastic housing below the speaker stem.  The hold is much better this way, there is no way for them to fall off, and they feel much better wearing the headphones.
After install the tips have a more low profile and fit better inside your ears with stronger hold then the stock tips.
All tips do not fit in charge case while installed on headphones, you must remove them before charging.

Memory foam is very high quality low rebound time.  Meaning you compress the foam and there is time to get them in your ears and they will form inside after for perfect fit.
Silicone is also high quality soft silicone.  Fits lower then stock ear tips so there is more of a seal and stronger hold while using the headphones.
