(The production opened March 29th, 1979 and ran for only 15 performances.) ..... The musical starred MAURY CHAYKIN, MANDY PATINKIN (who would begin rehearsals the following month for "Evita"), SAUL RUBINEK, BRENT SPINER and DIANNE WIEST ..... CREDITS: Book by DES McANUFF; Music by LARRY DAVID and DES McANUFF; Sets designed by HEIDI LANDESMAN; Costumes designed by JENNIFER VON MAYRHAUSER; Directed by DES McANUFF; Produced by JOSEPH PAPP and THE NEW YORK SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL and subsidized with income derived from "A CHORUS LINE" ..... DETAILS: The six page mimeographed playbill measures 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" inches and includes full production credits, cast list, synopsis of scenes and bios of each of the actors and members of the creative team, but no cast photos ..... CONDITION: With the exception of a light diagonal fold, this rare playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
