Lovely Vintage Brooch Pin - Gold tone - Faceted Yellow Stone or Glass

This is a stunning brooch that I found in a lot of costume jewelry in a local Vermont thrift store. You will need to use the photos to judge it for yourself because I can only say what it looks like to me. It is unmarked. It was very dirty when I found it, but it cleaned up with soap and warm water with a soft toothbrush. It looks like topaz in yellow gold but since I am no expert it could be faceted yellow glass. The metal could be gold toned but the luster looks to me to be at the very least gold plate.
It measures approximately 1 1/8" in length by 5/8" in width.
Again, I make no promises about this piece - please use the photos to evaluate it for yourself. I do know it is gorgeous and would make a beautiful addition to anyone's antique jewelry collection. It would make such a special gift to a loved one also, with love from Vermont.
