    This is a rare advertising herald (flyer) promoting the European and London Premiere engagement of the LARRY KRAMER play "THE NORMAL HEART"
    at the Royal Court Theatre
    in London beginning March 20th, 1986. (The Original Off-Broadway production opened April 21st, 1985
    at the Public / Anspacher Theatre in New York City
    and ran for 294 performances. The London production opened March 20th, 1986 at the Royal Court Theatre and after a limited six-week engagement, transferred to the West End's Albery Theatre.) ..... Originally produced by The New York Shakespeare Festival Public Theater and Joseph Papp, "THE NORMAL HEART" was the first production to deal openly with the then controversial subject of AIDS.
