This is a rare four-page preview playbill (includes two cut songs) from the Original Broadway production of the JAY LANDESMAN, THEODORE J. FLICKER, TOMMY WOLF and FRAN LANDESMAN musical "THE NERVOUS SET" which played Henry Miller's Theatre in New York City. (The production would officially open May 12th, 1959 and close after only 23 performances.) ..... The contemporary musical about the "Beat Generation" in Greenwich Village starred RICHARD HAYES, TANI SEITZ, LARRY HAGMAN, DEL CLOSE, GERALD HIKEN and THOMAS ALDREDGE and featured DON HELLER, BARRY PRIMUS, FLORENCE GASSNER, ARLENE CORWIN, JANICE MESHKOFF, ELVIRA PALLAS, DAVID SALLADE and LEE LINDSEY ..... CUT SONGS: The list of musical numbers includes "If I Could Put You In a Song" and "Rejection" which were cut during previews ..... CONDITION: With the exception of light creasing, this rare playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian.
