Original Broadway production of the WILLIAM INGE play "BUS STOP" which played the Music Box Theatre in New York City. (The production opened March 2nd, 1955 and ran for 478 performances.) ..... The Pulitzer Prize winning play starred KIM STANLEY as "Cherie" (the role played by MARILYN MONROE in the motion picture released the following year) and featured ANTHONY ROSS, ELAINE STRITCH, ALBERT SALMI, PHYLLIS LOVE, PATRICK McVEY, LOU POLAN and CRAHAN DENTON .....
