    This is a rare October 21st, 1940 playbill from the one-night, Post-Broadway engagement of PHILIP BARRY comedy "THE PHILADELPHIA STORY" at the Paramount Theatre in Toledo, Ohio. (The play opened March 28th, 1939 at the Sam S. Shubert Theatre in New York City and ran for 417 performances before going on the road.) ..... The play starred the legendary KATHARINE HEPBURN and featured VAN HEFLIN, JOSEPH COTTEN, NICHOLAS JOY, LENORE LONERGAN, VIOLA ROACHE, DAN TOBIN, OWEN COLL, FORREST ORR, RUTH HOLDEN, FRANK FENTON, PHILIP FOSTER, DORA SAYERS, HOPE BUCKELEY and BRENT SARGENT .....
