This is a rare September 17th, 1956 "Playgoer" playbill from the Post-Broadway engagement of the JEAN ANOUILH play "THE LARK" at the Geary Theatre in San Francisco, California. (The production opened November 17th, 1955 at the Longacre Theatre in New York City and ran for 229 performances before going on the road.) ..... The play starred JULIE HARRIS (who received the second of her four Tony Awards as "Best Actress in a Play") and featured SAM JAFFE, LEO CICERI, GEORGE MACREADY, BRUCE GORDON, JAMES O'REAR, EDWARD BINNS, MICHAEL HOGAN, EUGENE WOOD, LOIS HOLMES, TAMMY GRIMES (in one of her earliest roles), DAN HOGAN, BARBARA STANTON and MICHAEL PRICE .....
