This is a rare October 1962 "Playgoer" playbill from the Original West Coast production of the BILLY BARNES and BOB RODGERS musical revue "BILLY BARNES' L. A." at the Coronet Theatre in Los Angeles, California. (The production opened October 10th, 1962 and enjoyed a long run in Los Angeles, but unlike its two predecessors, never played in New York.) ..... The cast included the former Mrs. Billy Barnes, JOYCE JAMESON, KEN BERRY, ANN GUILBERT, TOM HATTEN, MARLYN MASON and STEVE FRANKEN ..... CREDITS: Music and Lyrics by BILLY BARNES; Sketches and Dialogue by BOB RODGERS; Sets and Costumes designed by ARCHIE SHARP; Choreographed by SYLVIA LEWIS; Staged by BOB RODGERS; Produced by GEORGE ECKSTEIN and BILL WATTERS ..... DETAILS: The 32 page playbill measures 6" X 9" inches and includes full production credits, cast list, scenes, musical numbers and bios of each of the actors, but no cast photos ..... CONDITION: With the exception of a light vertical crease and minor edge wear, this playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian.
