This is a rare single page advertising handbill (flyer) promoting ticket sales for the two-week,Pre-Broadway engagement of the CHRISTOPHER FRY comedy "THE LADY'S NOT FOR BURNING" at the Shubert Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts beginning October 23rd, 1950. (The production would open November 8th, 1950 at the Royale Theatre in New York City and run for 151 performances.) ..... This single page, two-sided handbill measures 6" X 9" inches and includes wonderful graphics, production credits and performance dates on the front and promotional text, ticket prices and a ticket order form on the backside ..... CONDITION: With the exception of a tiny pin hole in the top right corner, this rare handbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
