    This is a rare January 5th, 1933 program (playbill) from the three-night, National Tour engagement of the SIGMUND ROMBERG and DOROTHY DONNELLY musical play "BLOSSOM TIME" at the Nixon Theatre in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. (The production opened September 29th, 1921 at New York's Ambassador Theatre, moved to the Jolson's 59th Street Theatre on October 2nd, 1922 and the Century Theatre on October 23rd, 1922, running for 516 performances while simultaneously playing on the road.) ..... Using the melodies of FRANZ SCHUBERT, the hit musical starred JOHN CHARLES GILBERT as "Franz Schubert" and GERTRUDE LANG as "Mitzi" and included HARRY RABKE, CHARLES CHESNEY, JOSEPH TONER, ROBERT HORN, TRUEMAN GAIGE, CHARLES LEONARD, BETTI DAVIS, MANILA POWERS, JOHN GOLDSWORTHY, BERTA DONN, WINIFRED CAHOON, GEORGE HASSELL, ALLAN JONES, MAX PONCH, LORRAINE WEIMAR, ROBERT O'CONNOR and ELIZABETH CRANDALL ..... CREDITS: Book and Lyrics by DOROTHY DONNELLY adapted from the original by A.
