This is a rare broadside (single page playbill) from a preview performance of the Original Off-Broadway production of the obscure MATT CREEGER play "NAKED HIGHWAY" at New York's Actors' Playhouse Theatre ..... Directed by Gay Porn pioneer JOE GAGE, the dramatic comedy is set at the remote "Juke Box Diner" in the Southwest desert and depicts the highly charged, sometimes violent relationships that develop among eight virile and desperate men trapped in a life and death situation. The diner's handsome owner, his 18 year-old son, a burly young truck driver, a worldly visiting artist, a rangy local cowboy, a rugged state trooper and two tough escaped convicts with nothing more to lose make up the cast of characters in this comedic drama which roller-coasts its audience from high jinx to high drama -- from heart clutching emotion to gut busting laughter. CONDITION: With the exception of two horizontal folds, tiny staple holes in the top left corner and light creasing, this playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
