I'm currently listing a large number of playbills representing some of the most memorable Broadway performances of the 1950's and 1960's ......... This is a beautiful March 30th, 1969 playbill (from the Special Performance in aid of the Actors' Fund of America) of the Original Broadway production of the NEIL SIMON, BURT BACHARACH and HAL DAVID musical comedy hit "PROMISES, PROMISES" at the Sam S. Shubert Theatre in New York City. (The production opened December 1st, 1968 and ran for 1281 performances.) ..... The musical starred the late JERRY ORBACH (awarded the 1969 Tony Award for "Best Actor in a Musical"), JILL O'HARA and EDWARD WINTER and featured DONNA McKECHNIE, PAUL REED, DICK O'NEILL, VINCE O'BRIEN, A. LARRY HAINES, MARIAN MERCER, MILLIE SLAVIN, ADRIENNE ANGEL and NORMAN SHELLY .....
