This is a rare October 1991 playbill (with an original ticket stub) from the National Tour engagement of the groundbreaking ALAIN BOUBLIL and CLAUDE-MICHEL SCHONBERG musical "LES MISERABLES" at the Forrest Theatre in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. (The production opened March 12th, 1987 at New York's Broadway Theatre, moved to the Imperial Theatre on October 17th, 1990 and ran for 6680 performances while simultaneously playing on the road.) .....Based on the VICTOR HUGO classic, the cast included BRIAN LYNCH as "Jean Valjean", DAVID JORDAN as "Javert", LISA VROMAN as "Fantine", CANDESE MARCHESE as "Eponine", RON SHARPE as "Marius", GINA FERRALL as "Madame Thenardier" and MARIAN MURPHY as "Cosette" and included JARROD EMICK (making his professional stage debut), CARY LOVETT, CRAIG BENNETT, STEPHEN C. CONDITION: This rare playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
