This is a beautiful advertising handbill (flyer) promoting the opening of the Original West End production of the STEPHEN SCHWARTZ and WINNIE HOLZMAN musical "WICKED" at the Apollo Victoria Theatre in London. (The Original Broadway production opened October 30th, 2003 at the Gershwin Theatre in New York City and is still playing after over 4600 performances. The London production began previews on September 7th, 2006, officially opened on September 27th, 2006 and is still selling out nightly.) ..... The musical starred IDINA MENZEL, repeating her Tony Award winning role of "Elphaba" (she would be replaced on December 30th, 2006 by KERRY ELLIS) and HELEN DALLIMORE (in her West End debut) as "Glinda" and featured ADAM GARCIA, MIRIAM MARGOLYES, MARTIN BALL, JAMES GILLAN, KATIE ROWLEY JONES and NIGEL PLANER as "The Wizard" .....
