This is a rare autographed program (playbill) from the Off-Broadway production of the HARVEY SCHMIDT and TOM JONES musical "PORTFOLIO REVUE" at the Portfolio Theatre in New York City. (The production opened December 6th, 1974 and played a limited engagement of 12 performances.) ..... The revue included selections from the TV production "NEW YORK SCRAPBOOK", the unproduced musical version of "Romeo and Juliet" entitled "JOY", the new Schmidt and Jones musical "THE BONE ROOM" (a work in progress), the film score "BAD COMPANY" (with lyrics added for this show), "THE FANTASTICKS", "110 IN THE SHADE", "I DO! I DO!", "DEMI DOZEN", "CELEBRATION" and "COLETTE". The cast included DAVID CRYER, KATHRIN KING SEGAL, JEANNE LUCAS, TOM JONES and HARVEY SCHMIDT ..... Note: The front page of the program was signed by author TOM JONES, composer HARVEY SCHMIDT and cast members DAVID CRYER and JEANNE LUCAS ..... CREDITS: Words by TOM JONES ("The Fantasticks", "I Do! CONDITION: This rare playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
