    Description

    "Roads to Cibola: What to See in New Mexico and How to Get There" - a booklet published and distributd for free by the New Mexico State highway Commission. Front and back cover are decorated with an illustration showing a typical scene on the road, with houses in the hills and trees looming over your had. The inside cover has "New Mexico at a Glance" - a long, descriptive paragraph that provides a summary of what the rest of the book will be about. This is followed by a full-page illustration from a photograph titled "A Silversmith of Cibola", which shows the craftsman sitting cross legged on the ground, hammering silver. From here, this 32p. booklet gives you a descriptive narrative that is part informational and part promotional. Profusely illustrated with images of various points of interest and the natural beauty all around you. In keeping with the title "Roads to Cibola", each major highway running to Cibola is given special attention, letting you know what you'll see depending on your route. Map tipped in at the back. On the last page, a section titled "About the Book" lists the various authors, artists, and photographers whose work has been featured.
