Description
This is a lacquer fountain pen that was born on the occasion of the 1st anniversary of the opening of Ginza Tsutaya Bookstore.
It is characteristic that the lacquer work of the four seasons flowers is drawn up to the neck of the pen, and the crest of "Tsutaya Juzaburo" is precisely drawn on the crown.
The 14-karat gold nib is made by Bock of Germany.
The lacquer work is made by Wajimaya Zenni's craftsmanship. Since its founding in 1813, Wajimaya Zenni has continued to connect the traditional techniques of Wajima lacquerware, and is the first in the lacquer industry to grow lacquer trees in-house.
It is a very famous workshop in Japan as a bearer of lacquer culture.
The lacquer work drawn on the fountain pen in spring is "Yaezakura", and you can enjoy the cherry blossoms in full bloom scattered from the barrel to the neck of the pen.
In addition, ebonite used as a barrel has been researched to achieve better insulation, oil resistance, and water resistance by focusing on the quality of natural rubber since the establishment of Nikko Ebonite Mfg. Co., Ltd. in 1952.
