This is a rare advertising handbill (flyer) promoting ticket sales for the out-of-town tryout of the VERNON DUKE and LESLIE STEVENS musical comedy "THE PINK JUNGLE" at the Erlanger Theatre in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. (The production opened October 14th, 1959 at the Alcazar Theatre in San Francisco and closed December 12th, 1959 at the Shubert Theatre in Boston, canceling the scheduled Broadway opening.) ..... CONDITION: With the exception of three horizontal folds and light edge wear, this rare flyer is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
