This is a rare ticket envelope and loose ticket stub from the January 7th, 1942 matinee performance of theOriginal Broadway production of the MOSS HART, KURT WEILL and IRA GERSHWIN musical "LADY IN THE DARK" at the Alvin Theatre in New York City. (The production opened January 23rd, 1941 and ran for 162 performances before taking a summer hiatus and brief tour. CONDITION: With the exception of light soiling to the envelope, this rare set is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
