This is a rare piece of sheet music for the song "ROSE OF THE MORNING" from the score of the Winter Garden's Annual Fall Revue "THE PASSING SHOW OF 1923" at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City. (The production opened June 14th, 1923 and ran for 118 performances.) ..... "The Passing Show" began in 1912 (not counting an 1894 production at the Casino Theatre) as a Winter Garden Extravaganza and became an annual event until 1924.
