This is a rare autographed souvenir program from the out-of-town tryout of the FRANK LOESSER and SAM SPEWACK musical comedy flop "PLEASURES AND PALACES" at the Fisher Theatre in Detroit, Michigan. (The production opened March 11th, 1965 in Detroit and closed there April 10th, 1965 cancelling both the Boston tryout and the scheduled May 10th, 1965 opening at New York's Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.) ..... The musical starred ALFRED MARKS (who would be replaced by JACK CASSIDY late in the Detroit run), PHYLLIS NEWMAN, HY HAZELL and JOHN McMARTIN (who signed the title page) and featured LEON JANNEY, MORT MARSHALL, ERIC BROTHERSON, SAMMY SMITH, WOODY ROMOFF, JOHN ANANIA, BARBARA SHARMA and MICHAEL QUINN .....
