This is a rare advertising handbill (flyer) promoting the one-week, Post-Broadway engagement of the SIGMUND ROMBERG and DOROTHY DONNELLY musical play "BLOSSOM TIME" at the Cass Theatre in Detroit, Michigan beginning November 3rd, 1941. (The Original Broadway production opened September 29th, 1921 at New York's Ambassador Theatre and ran for 516 performances. This revival opened December 26th, 1938 at the Forty-Sixth Street Theatre in New York City and ran for only 19 performances before mounting an ambitious tour.) ..... Using the melodies of FRANZ SCHUBERT, the musical starred EVERETT MARSHALL as "Franz Schubert" and featured AGNES CASSIDY as "Mitzi Kranz", ANN PENNINGTON as "Ditzi Kranz" and EVELYN ROSS as "Fritzi Kranz". The cast also included LYNDON CREWS, ROY BARNES, BETTI DAVIS, JOSEPH TONER, LORRAINE BRIDGES, VICTOR MORLEY, HOWARD ROLAND, ELLIOTT ROBERTSON, JAMES RADKEY, DETMAR POPPEN, FRANK HORNADAY, JANE STANLEY, ZELLA RUSSELL, HARRY K.
