(The Original Broadway production opened November 14th, 1950 at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre in New York City and ran for 233 performances. The Australian production premiered on July 27th, 1951 in Melbourne and transferred on November 3rd, 1951 to the Theatre Royal in Sydney, New South Wales. The Original West End production would open October 5th, 1954
at London's Phoenix Theatre
