This is a rare January 1996 playbill from the Original Broadway production of the groundbreaking ALAIN BOUBLIL and CLAUDE-MICHEL SCHONBERG musical "LES MISERABLES" at the Imperial Theatre in New York City. (The production opened March 12th, 1987 at the Broadway Theatre, moved to the Imperial Theatre on October 17th, 1990 and ran for 6680 performances, becoming one of the five longest running Broadway musicals of all time.) ..... Based on the VICTOR HUGO classic, the cast included eight year-old LEA MICHELE (star of TV's "Glee") in her Broadway debut. She played "Young Cosette" onTuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday matinees
and "Young Eponine" on
Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings
