This is a rare oversized December 22nd, 1887 programme (playbill) from the engagement of the EDWIN BOOTH and LAWRENCE BARRETT Company in the WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE tragedy "OTHELLO" at the Boston Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts. (The two week engagement opened December 10th, 1887 and ran through December 24th, 1887.) ..... The company's repertoire included performances of Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar", "Othello", "Hamlet", "Macbeth", "King Lear" and "The Merchant of Venice". The play starred the legendary EDWIN BOOTH as "Iago" and LAWRENCE BARRETT as "Othello" and featured
