This is a rare January 11th, 1932 playbill from the Original Broadway production of the ED WYNN, ED PREBLE and HARRY WARREN musical "THE LAUGH PARADE" at the Imperial Theatre in New York City. (The production opened November 2nd, 1931 and ran for 231 performances.) ..... The musical starred ED WYNN, "The Perfect Fool" and featured SARA JANE, AL BARON, JEANNE AUBERT, FRIEDA MIERSE, AMELIA DI GATANO, HARRY SEAMAN, FRANK SEAMAN, EUNICE HEALY, KATHRYN BRYAN, JACK POWELL, LEVENORIA SABALIS, MADALINE DUNBAR, BARTLETT SIMMONS, VIRGIL DODD, DIANNE CURZON, JERRY ROGERS, EDDIE CHENEY, WILLIAM CROWLEY, JOYCE WHITNEY, MADGE SMYLEE, WILBUR HALL, GEORGE PRENTICE, LAWRENCE GRAY, FLORENCE NELSON, MABEL BARRY, MARY WILKINSON and the WYNNSOME DANCERS ..... BONUS: The playbill includes 15 pages of text and advertising associated with the 1932 AUTOMOBILE SHOW at New York's Grand Central Palace. Two of the pages are shown in the scanned images ..... CONDITION: With the exception of a light corner crease and minor edge wear, this rare playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
