    "COTTAGE PATCHES"
    a NEW Folk Art Handemade Counry Patchwork Rag Quilt Table Runner. This Mat has 75 DIFFERENT Fabric Prints used in it.
    The Mat features Patchwork Quilting. The Mat has 3 layers: a Cotton Top/Flannel Center/Cotton Backing which are quilted together and the edges clipped to create a "Ragged" look. The Patchwork Top is made of 80 patches that are machine sewn together, then attached to the Center/Backing and are quilted together with an X through each patch. TEAPOT NOT INCLUDED.

    This Mat has been washed once to start the ragging process. The clipped edges will continue to get fluffier each time you wash it. Different types of Fabrics are used in making the Mats. These Fabrics have a different rate of shrinkage when washed which creates the wonderful puckers and crinkles, just like the vintage Quilts these are patterned after.

    We have a non-smoking, Dog Friendly Home, but the Dogs don't help me sew very often!
